My Story

I grew up in a small town in Maryland with just over 5,000 people. Community was everything.


Relationships are what made and continue to make life fulfilling.

Why is it different in business? Working in software over the past 10 years has made realize that often times, companies companies simply do not view their customers (or employees) as humans. 


This not only makes life less fulfilling, but it is a missed opportunity to grow a sustainable business.

Treating people well, whether they are your customers or not, is a phenomenal business strategy. Too often, a short-term mindset where metrics are linear and "certain" have incorrectly guided decision making in business.


So I thought to myself: what if there was a better way? What if we could quantify the impact of simply treating people well? What if a long-term mindset that was focused on customers was the way.....and I could prove it and we can even forecast it with 98%+ accuracy?

Well, that's what I have spent my career in software doing. I have worn every hat (literally) to be able to fully understand the problems businesses face:

  • Employee #1 of a Seed Funded company in the Ed Tech space.

  • VP of Marketing at a Series A company in the Social Marketing space primarily focused on SMB revenue, where I reported to a board every month

  • Enterprise Sales with a bootstrapped company in the Ed Tech Space where I created my own pipeline with no budget

  • Early employee in Client Success at a CRM company, where I helped grow it from pre-Series A all the way through acquisition 5 years later by Compass Real Estate.

  • Created my own position in Client Education and scaled a team at a company in the GovTech + Big Data Space that raised $100M+ and is headed towards IPO in the very near future.
